Location, ambience and lobby restaurant and bar.
Double beds are a bit small in lieu of Queen Beds and house keeping forgets to restock properly

Bathroom was not as clean as I would have liked. Stain in front of toilet.

Rooms (king bed and double beds) larger than average, including bathrooms. Thermostat/air vent quieter and more efficient than many rooms I have used recently. Cleaning staff very friendly and eager to help.
Hotel location relatively convenient but address not best for sightseeing or circulating in Manhattan. Lobby staff polite but easily forgetful. Parking fee (Valet) rather outrageous ($75/24h). Common space aplenty but not particularly welcoming nor comfortable. Avoid rooms close to elevators that are meeting points/very loud. Not sure what "updated 2017" means since rooms and bathrooms already show signs of deterioration: bed platform worn off, multiple scratches, stains, and dents on walls, missing joints on shower door, etc. Satellite TV has bad days with several channel not available.
