The downstairs lobby was great, the elevators were fast and efficient
The rooms were a little outdated
Bidet on toilets
The staff was amazing, everyone greets you and is pleasant. The property is super cool and very well preserved/redone. The pool was top notch and a movie was playing above the pool in the evening. An exceptional experience.
They put a birthday cake in my room on my birthday
$16 a day for WiFi access and a 20% Surcharge on already expensive room service prices
Historical, good location, grand hall gorgeous.
Trash from previous person, filthy vents, wobbly fixtures, dirty dishes, mean staff. Expensive internet, difficult electronics.
Workers were on strike and hotel did not advise and failed to change my room after two requests. Rooting employees started at 630am and went until 1030pm.. no sleep. Hotel services were not functioning due to lack of staff. No restaurant, sc etc
hotel was a disaster. workers were on strike and the protest was incredibly aggressive and confrontational, hotel staff was wholly unprepared to provide for the safety of their guest. hotel made no mention of protesters before we arrived
The place is a real palace and its decorations are phenomenal
Yes, the last day there was no hot water in the hotel. We had to inquire about the lack of hot water in the hotel, we were not informed of such situation and found extremely unpleasent that a hotel of the category of The Palace.
The comfort of the sleeping areas was fabulous. Great pillows and beds. The staff was very personable and courteous.
Staff were nice and helpful. The bed and bed clothes were some of the best that we've had in a hotel. Nice Japanese toilets. Kids love the indoor pool. The view from the pool at night is great if you like the eyesore and mediocre art of the Salesforce Bld
It'd be nice to have a tub option. Also, didn't see a room with two beds in it, but it might be an option at the higher end.
The value is great for a recently renovated, historic hotel.
Room service was mediocre.
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and the hotel was beautiful! The room was spacious and clean. We loved the showerheads and the comfortable bed. I would highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay again on my next SF visit.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was beautiful.
Excellent, Excellent and Excellent and
Super friendly staff!! Everyone from the doorman to house cleaning!
Super friendly staff. The doormen were friendly and helpful. Would stay here again :-)
The indoor pool and 24 hr gym was great. The bathroom in our suite was big and luxurious.
Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived, which was understandable since it was New Years weekend. The charge to park was outrageous, $70/day
It was smack downtown, everything in walking distance.
Nowhere to park under $40
