Location. It is walking distance to all of the great restaurants and bars of River North.
- Rooms were very small - Staff was SO RUDE! Even simple questions (like where to store our luggage) were met with attitude.

The location was great. Bed was comfortable.
The room was extremely small, no coffee maker in the room. The ice machine on our floor didn't work.

Room is small. You can hear people in rooms next to you

Comfortable room/bed in a good location. The decor was fun. Room was clean and plenty of towels/toiletries.
The coffee situation was a little odd with needing to walk through a restaurant and wait in line to ask for a cup. Minor, but our curtains were ripped. Also, on our second night there, someone was smoking and we could smell it in our room.

Great location.
The front desk people did not look at me. The toilet in our room had water flowing all night (416). There was a cobweb on the ceiling. I tried to call the front desk for an extra sheet and it was always busy.

Comfy bed and location. Had everything you need - shower, bed, wifi, TV, and it was clean.
Not really. It did take a minute to figure out the deal with the valet since they weren't right out front. They valet for the 3 hotels on the street is why.

The location is great. Our room was relatively quiet.
The rooms are very small and claustrophobic. I could not stay here more than one night. There is no room for an easy chair and side table, and the desk chair hits the bed when you pull it out. There is no coffeemaker. The staff were not friendly.

Free tea/coffee in the morning and location
The room was the size of a closet. Have stayed in many "boutique" hotels. THIS was RIDICULOUS and simply SMALL. The internet did NOT work and when I asked the front desk, they said "its working for everyone else. LOL. Dont stay here!

The price per night was very reasonable
This is closer to a 2.5-3* hotel. Its clean and gets the job done.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I read reviews that the rooms are really small but I disagree. In a boutique hotel, the rooms are always smaller! It was clean and had a decent view! I would definitely recommend this hotel.
$60 for valet parking is a little steep!

Location, nicely decorated. Nice people nice bar area.
Small rooms but guess that's what expected in a boutique hotel. Queen bed Hoped for king.

The location was excellent! And the rooms were just the right size for the two of us. Also, I love to sleep in, and the curtains really blocked out the light. The staff was extremely helpful each time we needed anything.
The only minor qualm was that the sink basin was weirdly shallow. It splashed back water half the time. Other than that 10/10.

$13 extra fee, $70 valet parking

The location of this hotel is great.
Our room was directly next to an elevator which beeped constantly, waking me up every 20 minutes. The toilet never stopped running. I had stayed at this hotel previously about 8 years ago but likely wont be coming back.

We loved the French restaurant and sushi bar at the hotel and a great location to get to city attractions.

Location.
It was tiny. The smallest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. The bed frame stuck out exceptionally far from the mattress for such a small room. I injured myself on it. The check in staff seemed bothered to help.

The hotel was very close to many restaurants, bars and music venues.
Nothing

Rust stain on sheets and pillow case. Long wait for elevator. Wasn't impressed.

I loved the location of this hotel.
I rented 2 rooms: one was great but the other had a strong moldy smell. There were a bunch of spiderwebs on the window as well.

It has a wonderful sushi restaurant tucked into a nook off the lobby.
Extra fees were added at check-out that I have not experienced at other hotels in Chicago. I think they called them urban service fees, and that they are only added once you physically stay there.
