If we knew the hotel was a target of a striking we would not have booked it. I prefer to support workers.

Location, Location, Location. Couldn't ask for better. The staff was extremely friendly and recommended places to see and eat. Cute place.
There is/was a employee strike going on in front of the hotel, so that was awkward. They were drumming, so you could hear that on the 18th floor, where I was staying. I was charged a hotel fee that I wasn't aware of when booking.

Beautiful room. Clean, quiet, two televisions and comfortable king bed.
There are many picketers outside they are loud. They are yelling about not staying there. It is embarrassing coming in and going out of the hotel. These picketers have ben there for going on 2 years.

A hidden but exceptional downtown Chicago hotel.

Proximity to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. I would only recommend this hotel for this reason.
The hot water didn't get very hot making showering challenging. Additionally, the hotel is being picketed daily for unresolved employee issues. The picketers started at 7am with a loud banging drum making sleep extremely difficult.

Very clean and quiet.
Protesters outside hotel as we were checking out.

location. Seem safe. Walking distance to lots of attractions.
Two queen beds room, bathrooms much nicer than a standard hotel, but room design the same as most less expensive hotels.

This is NOT a 4 star hotel. No pool, you get charged for everything, a/c went out, never again!

The price for the location

The room was a realistic size and not a closet like a lot of them in Chicago.

The location.
Did not realise there was an ongoing demonstration by hotel staff everyday outside hotel entrance. Somewhat noisy and disruptive. Would have appreciated if hotel had informed us to be aware before we arrived.

Great hotel
When we arrived the hotel workers were on strike and picketing out front. If I would have known I would have stayed somewhere else. I am a union worker and felt very uncomfortable staying there.

Location was good.
There was not a microwave. There was not any vending machines to get soda. You had to order from the bar. Parking is absolutely ridiculous. When you pay for a hotel room, you assume parking is included. First time in my 39 years I had to pay to park. :(
