Great value and location.
Restaurant under construction but hopefully the construction will be done soon.
Although the room is small, it provides a lot of stuff in a tidy manner so that guests can enjoy high class drink and facilities.
It took me a while to find out way to turn off two neon tubes along walls.
Location and it's old style charm
The location, the charming vintage look, very friendly and helpful staff. Bed was very comfortable and exceptional toiletries.
The fact that there is no pool but it was okay as the location was so beautiful and close to excellent restaurants and bars and the lake!
The cleanliness and the boutique hotel vibe. Also really like the room setup. It was also a fabulous location.
The walls were not soundproofed...heard music in the middle of the night from room next door. Not sure if the guest intended for it to be so loud but it was the same song played over and over again from 3 am to 4:30am.

Room was the size of a closet and bed was like a futon
Location- It was close to Lakefront to catch the & the red line for the train. Hotel employee was awesome (only employee who made us feel welcome, if not for him hotel would have received lower rating).
Rooms were dirty & the majority of staff we saw were not friendly. Bad amenities. Plus it advertised every room had a refrigerator (2 rooms I stayed in did) but they didn't tell you there was no room in them for all the expensive stuff they put in the
Incredible hotel and staff! Loved having tea in the room off the lobby! Security staff so fun to talk to about the history. Also loved all the old photos of hotel guests.
Absolutely nothing. Loved every aspect!
It is closer to beach and other famous attractions.
Even though two children under 17 were allowed without extra cost, we got single bed room. Two people had to sleep on floor.
Room service was pretty good and open late, also liked the room had a stock of treats, alcohol, and non alcoholic beverages
The bed wasn't a great bed, very low as well. Shower head was short, my boyfriend is only 6ft and had to duck down to shower.
Location,clean, great bed & comforter
Slow service in kitchen for breakfast
The entrance was really nice, the cleaning service ladies were friendly and attentive.
The rooms are small. The beds are very low to the ground. We had flies in our room. The bathroom had 2 dirty towels. Upon are arrival the valet was nicer the the lady at the desk. She was not friendly at all and uninviting.
Great staff. Clean and near everything including the red line.
The staff were positive and friendly.
The room! Initially, the room was extremely small and very unimpressive. I have stayed in 1-star hotels with nicer rooms. After complaining, they upgraded us to a reasonable room--nice staff. The overall experience was not worth repeating.
Room was very clean. The 151 Sheridan bus and the Red line subway are just 3 blocks from the hotel which makes it a good choice for those wishing to avoid the higher cost of hotels on the Magnificent Mile.
The room was a bit small and there was just one chair, a desk chair with a wooden frame which was fine for desk work but not comfortable for lounging.
The location was good. Everything was clean and neat. The lobby was small but pretty.
Room and bathroom were both very small. I swear our bed was a full size, thank goodness we aren't tall! Pricey for such a small room. Bottled water was expensive. I really appreciate it when they at least give you one small bottle of water at no charge.
The hotel is gorgeous! Beautiful lobby and gracious staff. Location was right in downtown and central to all Chicago sights.
Great staff service, from check in to exit.
Furnishings were a bit Spartan, the desk chair pretty uncomfortable.
I didn’t like that the only option for parking is vallet $64 over night. And no where was this disclosed until we got there. If we parked at an open lot it would have been $45 but walking in 2 degree weather wasn’t gonna happen so we paid
