Great value for a Chicago hotel

The hotel lobby is ordinary, clean. However the receptionist is not helpful with requests. The room is especially poor, it is old, with dust and spiderweb, the window is dirty. The air conditioner is also very old fashion. Not worth the price to stay.

location
The room was extremely dusty , the carpet was dirty, bathroom wasn’t clean.

The staff were awesome. The location was great too.
The sheets didn't cover the whole mattress so it was kind of weird.

Hotel Room and bathroom were big. Location was great for us.
The room could use some updating. The staff at the front desk were not very welcoming

Location was good
It was very old and rundown. Could use some upgrades.

There are no queen beds. They put my husband and I in a room with two twin beds. Would not have selected this hotel.

Nothing
From staff to cleanliness to room quality, everything was extremely poor.

Rooms are extremely outdated, heating pipes very loud.

Location
Noise level, not being able to check in early.

Location. One staff member was very helpful.
Dirty sheets on the bed. Super loud heating system. A rude person behind the desk the first few days.

Great location and friendly, helpful staff. Upon arrival, my room was too hot, so they sent a person from the service staff up to my room right away. He fixed the problem and showed me how to work the heater. It was an old style, but worked great.
Some loud clanging I'm guessing from old pipes. Luckily, I can easily wear ear plugs and turn my cell phone to white noise so it was not a problem. But I can see how other people could have sleep issues.

The location was very nice. I was in town to run a 5K and it was not far from the race.
The room was cute, enjoyed the kitchenette area. However, the view of the brick wall was not very appealing.

The best thing about this hotel is that it's cheap and in a good location. Walking distance from the parks, restaurants, and the Art Institute of Chicago.
Rude staff (hung up on me, immediately put me on hold when I called back.) Room was dusty, something was on the sheets, paper thin walls (could hear ppl talking on the streets & through the walls).

It was neat clean and Modest room. My room was spacious with 2 large windows. I like the daylight. It was quiet. Slept well. Had coffee maker, microwave refrigerator. Near-by places to eat.
Sale women at door, who was very persistant wanting us to purchase Time share rooms. Had to be borderline rude to stop her. We actually attempted to avoid her each time we went thru lobby.

Location just a block off Michigan Ave and 4 blocks from a CTA station. It was also much quieter than expected even though they put me in a room right across from the elevator.
It was odd to have a room with no flat surfaces such as a desk or a chair. I had to run the coffee maker in the sink, and more importantly, could not really use my laptop in my room, or in the lobby, which was very loud most of the time (music).

Fast elevator
Small room, not modern, felt very dated.

Location is great for the pier area and for the transit. The staff was great.
The rooms were very outdated. And the closet was in the bathroom. The noise from the police, fire and ambulances were very loud but not very often.
